My art work is centered around patterns and animals. I am creating the two together and experimenting with the backgrounds and either working their way into the animal or showing characteristics of the animal. some of my work may show opposite backgrounds of that the animal's shapes and patterns show and this could be used as a contrast, and then some of the will use equal patterns in the background to show the animal connecting with the background and the setting.
First of all i love colors so i try to use a wide range of color and designs in my background. i play with the designs and structure them to flow well with the animal that i incorporate.
what works best for me is usually picking an animal i like and studying its features and colors and patterns on its skin or fur. i also look at the animal and think of what setting it would be in and what colors the animal shows to me and that is how i choose what i do. i love patterns and animals so i try to mix them all together :)
